Starting recording Danger November 16, 2011

I’m home since Monday and finally seriously started to work on one of those new songs I have to record since March. Danger At Your Door.

I’m into looking for a general sound and a way to proceed, so I already recorded 4 different test versions, and the latter seems to be the right idea.

I told you about that software, Geist, dedicated to loop recording, and I won’t choose that option. Whatever I do I feel trapped into the loop. I really have to play instruments all along the song, whether it is guitars, basses, keys or even drum beats. But that software is not useless, I can use it as a sampler, tweak sounds then play them with a keyboard. It’s also a host for my drum kits.

Anyway I’ve got time for recording at the moment… Can’t wait to discover how I’m going to record those new songs !

Hey did you notice Ghostly Female Faces was released a year ago ? What a shame I didn’t figure out how to release something since then, unfortunately… Anyway…
