White and black pictures March 3, 2010

Don’t really know why I started using black and white pictures. Well, I’m fond of that genre, even if color pics may also be wonderful.

It reminds me I often associate music and sounds to colors. Folk music might be green whereas dance music might be orange… The Velvet produced black music, whereas Talk Talk’s Laughing Stock is definitely white. Strange for we might expect black is quiet… everything is quiet and black when you close your eyes at night…

For the moment I associate my music to black (even if it doesn’t sound like the Velvet at all), so I guess black and white pictures and videos are some sort of relevant.

Still want to win a black and white “Untimely Tales” CD before I change my mind and produce white music ? Enter the contest, and come back here just after in order to look at those “white and black” pictures I shot last time when Paris was under snow…

All those City Lights and CDs March 1, 2010

I got a great present this week-end. Maria Cristina Buttignoni & Roberto Bressa produced a gorgeous video for “City Lights”. It’s just freshly uploaded, enjoy it !

Then I thought it was a good idea to make a present myself, so I set up a contest : Answer to that tricky question (the solution is on my biography page), then I’ll randomly choose 5 winners for a free CD (and if you want me to use a pen and write something on it let me know).

Go and play here !
